Heather Melville – Homeopathy
Learn more about homeopathy here.
I was first introduced to homeopathy in 1983 by a friend, whilst I was training to be a nurse in Fife. I frequently turned to homeopathy to treat ailments for friends and family and became fascinated with the approach and impressed with the results I experienced. Since then, my interest in holistic health and passion for homeopathy has been an integral part of my life.
I studied with The College of Practical Homeopathy for 4 years, graduating in 2002 and regularly update my learning with further training in homeopathy and holistic health approaches. I am registered with the ‘Alliance of Registered Homeopaths’; a professional body that binds its members by a professional code of ethics and practice.
In 2003 I trained with Cruse Bereavement Care on their Bereavement Counselling Course and worked as a volunteer with them.
In 2011, I completed the CEASE training (Complete Elimination of Autism Spectrum Expression) and am registered as a CEASE therapist. This is a highly effective approach that uses homeopathy to help people on the autistic spectrum.
Gut & Psychology/Physiology Syndrome (GAPS) is a healing protocol for the digestive system, formulated by Dr Natasha Campbell-McBride from whom I received my training as a Certified GAPS Practitioner in 2014. Hippocrates said “All disease begins in the gut” and there’s no doubt in my mind that vibrant health is only possible when the gut is happy. Modern lifestyles, the food industry and conventional medicines all contribute to poor gut health so my job as a GAPS coach is to show you ways to overcome that.
My other interests include Nonviolent Communication (Marshall Rosenberg) which I have been learning and practising with a small group since 2006 following participation in a foundation course. I find this approach helpful in both my work with clients and in my personal life.
I offer you high quality, individualised healthcare in a friendly, relaxed environment. I love my work! And I really welcome the opportunity to help you discover a more complete way to better health.
My clinics are in Menai Bridge, Anglesey, outdoors in the warmer weather and online. You’re very welcome to contact me for a no-obligation chat if you have any questions about homeopathy and your health.
